Nexeus Fatale, Flaming Moe, and I are delighted to present the following featured live musicians for this year’s convention entertainment. We’re also happy to say that it was an extremely difficult process, with all the talent in SL. Thanks to all who participated in the auditions! Here are your live music performers for this year’s convention:

Additionally, Kourosh Eusebio has been selected to perform instrumental music for Friday night. Slim Warrior has been selected to represent live music at the Masquerade Ball, as a part of the electronica showcase.

And yes, it was a grueling two weeks, with all the submissions and great talent to choose from. It just shows that SL’s live music scene needs its own mini-con as well! We’ll save that for next year, though. Onward and upward…

@Nethermind - Funny you should say we need our own mini-con, was just thinking the same thing the other day. I guess SXSW going on this week kind of prompted that for me. Maybe SXSL? (Sounds by Second Life)
I think it might be a great idea to use the generator for the compilation album, though it might be better to go with something more organic…

I was joking about the compilation album title, Kaklick. But, we can make it a working title for fun.
SL Philly Live Music Fest was pretty close to a mini-con, and we had plans to have SL New Orleans Live Music Fest this year, but I got swamped with SLCC responsibilities. If anyone wants to take that on in the future, I’d be happy to assist.
Yeah, I was (mostly) joking about the cd title too, thus the (thwarted by the blog software) ducking. Though it might do well to have a catchy/weird/meme-like subtitle:
