The Magic Mushroom Hunt
Hunt in participating sites for the magic mushrooms. Right click on the magic mushroom and buy the contents for ZERO LINDEN. Cool stuff free from some of Second Life’s top designers. A list of the designers who donated can be found by clicking here. What did they donate? Well you’ll have to look for the mushrooms to find out!
Rules: There are these mushrooms, see? They are magic, see? They can be found on most (but not all) of the participating site sims and most (but not all) of the sites of the designers that donated. Which ones? That would make it way too easy so we aren’t going to tell you. A little mystery is good for the soul. When you find the mushrooms, right click and buy the contents for zero linden. There is no list so that you can be sure you found them all. See the part about mystery and soulbuilding.

We’ve lost our golden 8 and need your help in finding it. The golden 8 was last seen in one of our two adjoining sims, find it and we’ll reward your efforts with $L1000. Once it’s found, I’m sure we’ll lose it again and will need your help.
Rules: There is an 8. It is gold. Find it and it will have instructions on how to get the prize. There may be some lag time between the time it is found and the time it gets ‘lost’ again.

Leather and Lace Masquerade Ball
This ball is actually being held in Chicago at the RL SLCC. However we have some sites streaming it into Second Life and there will be CASH prizes at each site for best costume for both men and women. The following sites will be hosting the ball and giving cash prizes. Other sites might be streaming the ball — but only these sites listed here will have hosts and therefore prizes. For the best costume contest: Some of these sites will use contest boards, some will just do an IM count. The method of conducting the best costume contest is entirely up to the site host (in parens below). The prizes are: L$1000 each for best man and best woman; $L500 each for second place man and woman; $L325 each for third place man and woman.
