Single and Double rooms are $149.00 USD, triples are $169.00 USD and quads are $189.00 USD plus tax, of course. Expect to pay an advance deposit equal to one night’s stay, refundable for any reason up until 3 days before the event. Our room block is not open yet, so please do not call the hotel. When it is open we will let you know! Double up, bunk up with yer pals, do what you must, but come on down/up/over to Tampa!

Traveling to Tampa

Arriving By Air:

If you are flying to SLCC 2008 you will most likely be flying into Tampa International Airport. The airport is a 15 minutes/8 miles from the Marriott. Cab ride from the airport is about $20 - $25 or you can use the share-ride Super Shuttle. These shuttle will be easy since there are a lot of people that take shuttles into downtown and there are a number of hotels close by.

Arriving By Train or Bus

Amtrak does come into Tampa but it is a southern location and most likely it will not be an express ride taking a number of days to get there. The station is 15 blocks away but I would NOT walk and spend $5 more bucks on a cab!

Greyhound also comes into Tampa and the bus stop location is in close proximity to the Amtrack station … and the JAIL. so again I would suggest paying an additional $5 for a cab ride to the hotel.
