In-World SLCC Info
IN WORLD SITES AND EVENTS
This year, instead of just having one or two sims in which to participate in the SLCC, we have asked residents across the grid if they might donate some space and be willing to stream the Chicago events in-world and perhaps even hold some in-world events.
The in-world sites have been compartmentalized into Major Sites (MJ), Minor Sites (MN), and Listening Stations. The Major Sites are hosting all four streams, doing some in-world only events, and hosting the ball. The Minor Sites are doing one or more streams, may be hosting the ball, and perhaps doing an in-world only event. The Listening Stations are just places you can go listen — sometimes there is seating, sometimes there is shopping so you can shop whiile you listen if you like, sometimes there’s just standing around — but in any case the streams will be active there and you can at least catch the action in Chicago.
Additionally, our hub will be at Artificial Isle. You can go there at any time to get a copy of the schedule, find the list of sites, and if there’s a volunteer on duty at that time, ask a question. We are a little light in the volunteer department so don’t count on that.
Every where the ball is hosted (major and selected minor sites) there will be prizes for best costume at the ball. The theme of the ball is leather and lace. Take that to mean what you will.
It should be noted here that all streams are audio only. We are not streaming video footage from Chicago.

MAGIC MUSHROOM HUNT
During the weekend there will be a magic mushroom hunt that is exactly like an easter egg hunt except you will be looking for mushrooms and not eggs. Right click the shroom and buy the item for zero linden. We would like to thank the following merchants for their generous donations to the hunt. Want to know what they donated? Can we made a minor modification to the verbage for Hollywood sims hosting of the full Machinima and Social tracks? There is a parcel out there that is trying via PLACES to confuse SL residents as to where our events are. If we adopt the following minor change in wording it will help keep people from going to the Hollywood parcel build with it’s free sex gen motel and sex features around their place.
